  7. LogWin simply opens a window on whatever screen you want it, displaying a
  8. ListView Gadget, which entries can be controlled via a logfile or with
  9. the supplied Notify-program.
  10.  
  11. Purpose is to have ONE single LogWindow for all programs running in the
  12. background. I direct TrapDoor's output (nodenumber and sysopname) to the
  13. window, put some notification of my BBS on it, type in a "received Fax"
  14. if this happened, tell the window that UUCP-Mail has arrived for me...
  15. and so on - you know.
  16. I now can run TrapDoor and BBS totally quiet - TDGui is my TrapDoor GUI,
  17. LogWin is the LogWindow...

  20. easy to use, easy to understand and system-friendly.

  22. LogWin may be redistributed in any form as long as neither the code nor
  23. the documents are changed. Please do NOT charge any fee for copying it or
  24. for the program itself.

  26. Usage: LogWindow SCREEN=<screenname> LEFT=<left edge> TOP=<top edge>

  37. Usage: NotifyWin Sync/S Text

  41. With NotifyWin you tell LogWin to reread the logfile (NotifyWin SYNC) or
  42. to add a line to the file and the window (NotifyWin ....). If you
  43. specify both SYNC and TEXT the text is added first and reload done after-
  44. wards.
